Expo attendees in Heilongjiang get special treatment

During the eighth China-Russia Expo and the 33rd Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, which concluded on Tuesday in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, more than 8,000 inbound and outbound passengers and more than 90 inbound and outbound flights were inspected at Harbin Taiping International Airport.
The numbers reflect a year-on-year increase of 88 percent, according to the Harbin immigration border inspection station.
The station used all inbound and outbound waiting areas to accommodate the large flow of passengers, with several hundred clearing customs in less than half an hour.
To respond to the increased flow of passengers at the port, the station deployed police forces and established special channels for the events.
