Shanghai is a fertile ground for design inspiration
UK car designer Andrew, the Design Director of Dongfeng Shanghai Linyi Branch (Dongfeng Shanghai Design Center), visited Shanghai two years ago. He believes that Shanghai is a highly appealing city.
"I think great designers always look at the world and hope to make meaningful changes." Andrew believes that a designer should learn to acquire and filter information. The creative process should always be conducted within a controlled indoor environment, with the final products unveiled only upon their presentation at the show stand.
An opportunity exists to highlight the responsibilities and significance of automotive designers to the public.
In Andrew's view, the Chinese automotive market is characterized by vibrancy and intense competition. The widespread acceptance of electrification further underscores the importance of consistently exerting efforts to stay ahead in this dynamic landscape.
