Hohhot promotes ice, snow events in Beijing
The 2023-2024 Hohhot Winter Ice and Snow Activities Promotion Conference opened in Beijing on Dec 15, showcasing the ice and snow charm of Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
During the conference, 16 selected scenic spots in Hohhot were unveiled. Highlights included the Tumd Left Banner Hasuhai Winter Fishing Festival, the third Hohhot Happy Ice and Snow Carnival, and the winter fun to be enjoyed at the Mazongshan Ski Resort.
The event also featured the launch of the "Beijing-Hohhot" Skiing Special Train, with travel agencies from Beijing and Inner Mongolia signing contracts on-site.
The 2023-24 Hohhot Ice and Snow Festival will kick off on Dec 22, featuring a series of New Year activities, the third Hohhot Happy Ice and Snow Carnival, and the Hohhot Spring Festival and Lantern Festival celebrations.
