Shanghai hosts celebration of crab culture

A 642-gram male crab from East China's Jiangsu province and a 521-gram female crab from Jiangxi province were crowned "Crab King" and "Crab Queen" on Nov 14 during the 17th Crab Culture Festival and 2023 Wangbaohe Cup National Giant Crab Competition.
Held at Central Hotel Shanghai by Shanghai Ocean University, the event featured over 2,800 crabs that were examined by more than 120 organizations.
