Death toll rises to 26 in Shanxi building fire

Twenty-six people were confirmed dead after a fire broke out at around 6:50 am on Thursday in an office building in the Lishi district of Lyuliang, Shanxi province, according to China Central Television.
So far, 70 people have been evacuated, 63 of whom were sent to Lyuliang First People's Hospital for treatment.
Rescue efforts are ongoing, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
