Hospital ceiling collapses, injuring one

A gypsum board ceiling fell and injured one person at Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital in Jiangsu province on Monday afternoon.

According to the hospital, the ceiling detachment occurred above the entrance to the pedestrian escalator on the fourth floor of the outpatient building, resulting in one person suffering minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation and more prevention measures will be taken, the hospital said in a notice on Monday evening.
