International youth camp explores sustainable development in Dalian
Thirty-five international participants engaged in the Dalian activities of the 2023 Northeast Asia Youth Camp on Sustainable Development in Dalian, Liaoning province, starting from Oct 15.
During the five-day exchange program, the young participants from ten countries, including Russia, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines, Mongolia, Cambodia, Japan, Malaysia, and China, visited notable locations such as the Jinshitan National Tourist Resort, the big data center of the Jinpu New Area, and the RCEP (Dalian) international business district of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
They gained insights into diverse aspects such as urban development, industrial revitalization, history, culture, and green technology, fostering a deeper understanding of this port city.
The camp reached its crescendo on Friday afternoon with a youth forum, in which participants engaged in passionate discussions and exchanges.
