Panda college established in Sichuan

The inaugural ceremony for a college specializing in the giant panda was held in Nanchong, Sichuan province on Monday.

As China's first panda college, it will train high-level professionals in the protection of rare animals and plants such as giant pandas.

The college was jointly established by the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of Sichuan Province and China West Normal University in Nanchong.
