Flood in Haihe River Basin defined as super large flood
The flood that occurred in the Haihe River Basin in late July has been defined as a super large flood.
According to the latest flood investigation and measurement results, as well as through comprehensive analysis and research by the Ministry of Water Resources, a major flood occurred in the Ziya River of the Haihe River Basin and a super large flood occurred in the Daqing River and the Yongding River.
This flood has been determined to be a regional super large flood in the basin and has been named as "23·7" super large flood in the Haihe River Basin.
Meanwhile, Tianjin has transferred and resettled a total of 86,484 residents, according to the municipal emergency management bureau, as of 9 pm Friday.
This number represents an increase of 6,000 from the previous figure of 80,000 by last Sunday.
