Symphony concert held in Beijing to celebrate 102nd founding anniversary of CPC
BEIJING, June 30 (Xinhua) -- A symphony concert was held at the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing on the eve of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the CPC, which falls on Saturday.
About 800 people, including CPC members, winners of national medal and honorary title, students and Beijing residents from all walks of life, attended the concert.
Consisting of four parts, the concert presented 23 musical works and saw art performances staged by multiple orchestras and theater companies, such as the China National Symphony Orchestra, the China National Opera House, and the National Ballet of China.
Co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the China Media Group (CMG), the concert will be broadcast on channels of the CMG on Saturday night.
