A public art exhibition themed around Fu Tu, or the blessed rabbit, kicked off on Monday at Parkview Green FangCaoDi, in Beijing, to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.

The exhibition, created by contemporary artist Liu Ruowang, consists of 16 rabbits. A 6-meter-high rabbit stands at the east entrance of Parkview Green to pray for good luck for the coming New Year. Thirteen colorful rabbits sit on the lawn of the LG2 floor while the rest are located on the 10th floor.

Liu said he hopes the cute and gentle rabbits can comfort people and make them ponder the meaning of life.
