Tang elected as head of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of CPPCC

Tang Yijun has been elected as chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Beijing Daily reported on Saturday.
Before coming to Jiangxi to serve this new position, the 61-year-old Tang was the minister of justice.
The Shandong native started his career in July 1977 and joined the Communist Party of China in October 1985.
He served on various posts for decades in East China's Zhejiang province, and went to Liaoning province to be its acting governor in 2017. In 2020, he came to the Ministry of Justice.
