Courier services see smooth operation during holiday

China saw smooth operation of parcel delivery during the week-long National Day holiday, while handling more than 4.1 billion parcels, the State Post Bureau of China said on Sunday.

According to the bureau, from Oct 1 to Oct 7, the sector received about 2.14 billion parcels, a year-on-year increase of 7.23 percent, and delivered nearly 2 billion parcels, a year-on-year rise of 2.61 percent.
