A group of young art students from the Central Academy of Fine Arts will showcase their works at an exhibition curated by themselves at the Huaxiang Youth Science and Technology Park, Beijing, on Aug 7.

The event will feature about 50 groups and 100 pieces of works by both graduates and those still in school. Some works have been awarded as 2022's graduation design of the academy.

Despite the online graduation show held by the academy, the students still want to have an offline show.

"Due to its size and material, a piece of art can only convey its message to its best ability when it can be seen on site," they explained.

As the students only had a small budget, they served as their own curators to save money. They also got support from the Huaxiang Youth Science and Technology Park which is providing them with a venue for the exhibition.
