Present, Future, an exhibition now on at the Ici Labas gallery in Beijing, brings together paintings and installations by three artists of varying ages and cultural backgrounds, awakening people's memories of the past and anticipations of the future.

French oil painter Remy Aron's works are exuberant with grace and an intellectual charisma. His creation is marked with a layering of grayish tones and a play with light to deliver the depth of space.

Chinese artist Xing Junqin is known for using camouflage in his mixed-media works, by which he expresses the theme of peace. Hu Changqiong juxtaposes the landscapes of his native town in Southern China and the cityscapes which both present tranquility to reflect urbanities' sought-after inner balance. The exhibition runs through July 3.
