Volunteers from Red Cross Society of China made their contributions during the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics earlier this year to showcase a spirit of humanity, love and dedication.

A vest designed for Red Cross volunteers serving at the Olympics was recently donated by the Society to the National Museum of China in Beijing.

The vest, dated 2022, bears signatures of Francesco Rocca, president of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and Peter Maurer, president of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The National Museum has in its immense collection numerous objects in testimony to historic events such as the Olympic Games. A Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic torch was added to the museum's collection in April.
