A picture exhibition of the Beijing Winter Olympics kicked off at the Norwegian Olympic Museum in Lillehammer, Norway, on Jan 19, two weeks before the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Co-hosted by the Chinese embassy in Norway and the Norwegian Olympic Museum, the exhibition introduces Beijing’s history and culture, Beijing's Winter Olympic culture and the venues.
The exhibition will run until March 2023, during which videos will be played and knowledge competitions held to draw Norwegians’ attention to the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The exhibition was launched also as a prelude to the "Happy Chinese New Year" program in Norway in 2022.
Located in Lillehammer, where the 1994 Winter Olympics was held, the Norwegian Olympic Museum shows the history of the Olympic Games.
