7 dead, 2 missing after power plant inundated

Seven workers were found dead and two others are still missing after a power plant was flooded in Zhanggu town, Danba county, Ganzi Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Sichuan province, on Wednesday afternoon.
More than 400 rescue workers with 39 pumps from Ganzi have rushed to the site. More than 130 rescue workers from the Sichuan provincial capital of Chengdu are also on the scene. Two were rescued.
Rescue workers found three people. Unfortunately, one of them did not make it, and eight are still missing, according to the Daba county government information office.
The accident was caused by the bursting of a plug valve in the power station at around 1:40 pm on Wednesday, it said.
