Based on a Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) drama, The Orphan of Zhao is set in the Spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC). The dance drama, produced by the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater, is the story of an orphan's revenge against those who killed his family members when he was an infant.
