A1: This is the second time that Pirelli has taken part at the CIIE. We participated in the first edition of CIIE as the only global tire company in the automotive pavilion. We took CIIE as a great platform for us to seize the opportunities in the Chinese market.

This year we will bring our full range of high-value tire products and four innovative technologies which are all locally produced. In addition, the new 18-inch F1 tires highlight the close connection between its racing and road tires.

We look forward to the opportunities available in this fast-growing country on smart mobility.

A2: With the world's largest population, China is the second-largest economy as well as the second-largest importer and consumer in the world. CIIE shows China's firm support to trade liberalization and open Chinese market to the world, which gives overseas companies more chances of knowing China, exploring Chinese market and further doing business.

The dynamic of Chinese market will be of course shown through CIIE, with so many international companies joining in. Many advanced technologies and applications will be presented at the expo, which sees the importance of China market to the global companies and confirming their faith in the economic growth in China.

A3: China has made many efforts to bring more cooperation opportunities to other countries and give further impetus to global economic recovery and growth, like fundamental policies of opening-up and promoting trade and investment liberalization and facilitation.

As for the consumer attitudes, higher level of spending is in the trend.

A4: With technological and industrial transformation being the driving forces, China's automotive industry is becoming more automated and intelligent. Tires are the only contact points between cars and the road and will be essential for the trend. Cyber Tire, which Pirelli presents at this year's CIIE, is Pirelli's intelligent tires equipped with sensors. The next step for these tires is connected to a network with other vehicles and the surrounding infrastructure, increasing the safety of autonomous driving systems as well as protecting the safety of consumers.

A5: China is committed to fostering a business environment that is based on market principles, governed by law and up to international standards, and would unleash the potential of the huge China market and enormous domestic demand.

China is one of the key markets in the Pirelli future development strategies. Pirelli has invested three production bases, one R&D Center, near 5,000 employees in APAC and more than 4,000 business partners.

A6: China's efforts of opening up will surely give a positive sign to multinational companies which will consider China as a great choice to further grow their business.

And also, China is committed to achieving common development to help other developing countries, and has offered the world new opportunities through its own development.

A7: Under the current situation, China has done a great job of opening up. While China market has tremendous potential, market supervision is still needed to strengthen, especially since China's e-commerce market has been growing to be the top share of the world. A sound environment of the market will ensure the faith of the company to bring the most advanced products to the customers.

A8: CIIE is an important manifestation of China's fulfillment of its commitment to expand opening-up and is surely a good example to the world of multilateralism communication.
