Dalian announces new local case
Port city Dalian in Liaoning province reported one new locally transmitted COVID-19 infection on Thursday, according to Dalian's headquarters for COVID-19 prevention and control.
According to a notification released by the headquarters, since Dalian's Zhuanghe city reported one new positive case, residents in Dalian are asked not to leave the city if not necessary. Those who really need to leave the city must hold a negative result from a nucleic acid test taken within 24 hours. They also should report to their residential communities and working units.
Early on Thursday morning, Zhuanghe's COVID-19 prevention and control office announced a suspected COVID-19 case was identified in the city.
Also on Thursday, the 13th Congress of the CPC Dalian Committee raised its curtain at 2 pm after careful investigation and special arrangements, such as dozens of representatives from Zhuanghe delegation attending via video link.
