An exhibition featuring creative jewelry designs kicked off at Tianya Art Gallery in Beijing on Oct 17.
During the five-day event, speeches and forums focused on future developments in the jewelry industry will be held for scholars and practitioners to discuss how to keep abreast of changes in people’s aesthetic tastes when designing, as well as analyze new trends emerging in the jewelry market.
Wang Xiaodan, president of Beijing Kingee Culture Development Co Ltd, which designs, produces and sells jewelry, delivered a speech at the event’s opening ceremony. She said the company is exploring possibilities to create more cultural and creative jewelry products. For instance, it has collaborated with Yuanmingyuan, also known as the Old Summer Palace, to design jewelry resembling animal head sculptures.
At this exhibition, the company brought more than 50 jewelry exhibits for visitors to appreciate.
