China will provide another $3 billion in foreign aid in the next three years to support developing nations to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and restore social and economic development, President Xi Jinping announced on Friday.
Xi made the announcement during a speech delivered via video link at the informal APEC leaders' meeting from Beijing.
The move came after China has already provided over 500 million doses of vaccines to developing nations, he said.
