Online series following young foreigners meeting Party members debuts

An online program that follows several young foreigners as they visit and talk with their Chinese counterparts from various walks of life who are members of the Communist Party of China has aired on the video-sharing platform Mango TV since Thursday.
It aims to present young Chinese people's spirit and character as they strive for the country's prosperity, from a foreign perspective.
The foreigners, all having lived in China for a certain period of time, include Daniela Sena Franca, a Brazilian woman who founded the She Up community, which promotes gender equality with a focus on empowering female entrepreneurs, and James Ryan Nolton, an American man who has posted a series of video blogs online, in which he recorded his daily life during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in China last year.
The 15-episode program will take these foreigners to interview Wang Qiu'an, an architect who devotes himself to the country's rural revitalization, Qi Juntong, founder of Tianjin-based drone maker Efy Technology, Shi Jianyang, who followed in the steps of his grandfather and father to fight desertification in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, and other outstanding Party members from younger generations.
