Young rappers who shot to fame in the talent and reality show Rap for Youth last year held a live gig in SKP-S, an outlet at the high-end fashion and luxury shopping center SKP Beijing, on March 27.
The two rappers, Sha Yiting and Adawa, both under the label W8VES, performed their newly-released songs for the first time at the live show and shared their tour plans this year.
The W8VES label mainly consists of the top eight contestants in the aforementioned talent show, which has got 9.3 points out of 10 on China's major media review platform Douban. The show, produced by the video streaming platform Bilibili, has gained a high reputation among audience. To carry on the grace of the young-spirited show, the label born from the show aims to produce musical works that speak for the younger generations and promote positive energies.
