Music concert celebrates Chinese New Year in Singapore

The China Cultural Center in Singapore and Singapore Dingyi Music Company held a concert to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Feb 27.

The concert is the center’s first offline activity since its temporary shut down last February due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law of Singapore, Hong Xiaoyong, Chinese ambassador to Singapore, Mrs Goh Chok Tong, Patron of Ding Yi Music Company (the third from right), Que Xiaohua, Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, Xiao Jianghua, the center’s director, and about 150 guests and representatives from China and Singapore attended the event.

2021 heralds the sixth year of the cooperation between the center and the company, marking an end of a series Happy Chinese New Year celebrations in the country.
