Happy Chinese New Year activities kick off in Pakistan
The countdown to Spring Festival, an annual traditional Chinese holiday, has begun. The China Cultural Center in Pakistan has organized a series of "Happy Spring Festival" online activities to celebrate Chinese New Year with people from all over the world.
This year's online activities include 19 activities, including animations, virtual exhibitions, acrobatics, Chinese animation short film screenings, taijiquan classes, music concerts, exhibitions of cultural creative products and cooking workshops. Overseas audiences are invited to experience all kinds of fascinating Chinese customs.
The events, running from Jan 26 to Feb 25, are available on the WeChat official account and Facebook page of the China Cultural Center in Pakistan.
The cultural center has also partnered with the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism to stage Gan Opera performances during the Spring Festival.
