1 new asymptomatic COVID-19 case reported in Hangzhou

An employee from a local security service company was identified as an asymptomatic COVID-19 virus carrier Tuesday morning (Dec 29) in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, according to the Hangzhou Municipal Health Commission.
The patient, believed to be linked to imported COVID-19 cases, tested positive during regular nucleic acid testing on Monday, which was later confirmed by the local CDC.
The local CDC has traced and conducted closed management toward 137 close contacts relating to the case, with their nucleic acid test results all reported as negative as of 9 am Tuesday.
