CHES session connects experts across the world


The session moved to academic speeches in the afternoon. Loïc Fauchon, president of the World Water Council, Peter Goodwin, past president of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research and experts from Portugal, Malaysia, Sudan, New Zealand, South Korea and Brazil shared cutting-edge theories, concepts,, distinctive visions and experiences with thousands of participants watching the livestreamed conference.
Under the theme of Strengthening Science and Technology Development, Building Healthy Rivers and Lakes to Benefit the People, experts and audiences across the world have joined together in the international session of 2020 CHES Annual Conference to discuss harmonious ways for people to coexist with nature. On behalf of CHES, Liu Yongfeng, chairman of the international session and deputy secretary-general of CHES, expressed his gratitude and emphasized CHES is open to people from all walks of life around the world, and will always stand with those who are making great efforts to make our world a better place.
