Hubei announces measures to boost tourism
"Workers in cultural and tourism enterprises will take nucleic acid tests every 14 days," said Liu Dongru, deputy head of the provincial health commission. "Green QR codes on their mobile phones signifying good health and wearing face masks remain mandatory."
The provincial cultural and tourism department has issued a card to all outside medical workers supporting the province amid the epidemic, according to Lei Wenjie, head of the department.
The card provides limitless free visits to all A-level tourist sites in the province.
"Furthermore, we have invited 72 medical workers from 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions to return Hubei for travel," Lei said. "We have meticulously prepared tourists routes and trip scheduling, hoping to provide them a unique experience in Hubei."
