Deals for 37 projects with a total investment of 106.8 billion yuan were signed during a Yangtze River Delta regional cooperation meeting at the Shanghai Hongqiao State Guest House on Monday.

Organized by the Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government, the signing ceremony was aimed at attracting investment in Zhengzhou, Henan province, promoting its advantages and opportunities in Shanghai and facilitating its integration with the Yangtze River Delta.

"Zhengzhou is an inland geographical hub that is connected with the Yangtze River Delta and Shanghai. It is strategic and realistic for Zhengzhou to expand opening-up and accelerate its development," said Wang Xinwei, vice governor of Henan province and mayor of Zhengzhou.

The 37 deals include 20 advanced manufacturing projects, four scientific and technological research and development projects, five headquarters economy projects, five modern commerce projects, and three related to modern logistics.
