Zhou Shen sings theme song at Crossing premiere in Guiyang

At Tuesday's premiere of Crossing in Guiyang, Guizhou province, Chinese pop singer Zhou Shen performed the film's theme song and told audiences that even the hardest setbacks can still lead to the right destination.

The historical war film dramatizes the Red Army's four daring crossings of the Chishui River in 1935, a pivotal maneuver that helped the troops break through Kuomintang encirclement.

Crossing is scheduled for nationwide release on June 26.
