A road collapse followed a heavy rain on Sunday morning in Beijing's Tongzhou district.
The hole in the road, which was five meters wide and three meters deep, was in the intersection of Guangqulu East extension and Yuqiaodonglu Road, according to a report by China Traffic Radio.
The collapse was possibly caused by a pipeline leak, and no casualties were reported.
The related department has sent a team to repair the damage.
