Nurse dies months after fainting in Wuhan

A nurse in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, who was a member of the medical team supporting Wuhan in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, died in a hospital on Tuesday, three months after fainting on the job.
The nurse, Liang Xiaoxia, had fainted on Feb 28 as she was working in the isolation ward of Wuhan Union Hospital of China in Wuhan, the city hit hardest by the coronavirus in the country.
She was sent back to Nanning by chartered plane in late March after being treated by the country's top medical experts in Wuhan, according to Guangxi's health commission.
Many doctors had been consulted, but her condition deteriorated on Monday and she died. The cause was not released.
