Medical experts share experience with Ukraine hospitals
Twelve medical experts from hospitals in East China's Shandong province shared their experiences on preventing and controlling COVID-19 with medical staff from Ukraine's southern Kherson region via a video platform on Monday.
Experts from both sides discussed issues on the current situation of COVID-19, as well as prevention and treatment methods.
"We are glad to share our experience in fighting against novel coronavirus pneumonia with international communities and promote global cooperation to control the pandemic," said Sun Jiye, vice-governor of Shandong.
Shandong and Kherson established a friendly relationship in 1995 and we will keep up exchanges and communications on pandemic prevention and treatment, and promote cooperation in the medical field, as well as other fields to enhance our friendly relationship, Sun said.
Yurii Husiev, governor of Kherson, expressed his appreciation to Shandong for holding the video conference to share experiences. He expects there will be more cooperation in medical, economic and cultural fields after the pandemic.
