Experts support overseas fight against epidemic online
Ten clinical experts in Fujian province shared their experience in preventing and controlling the spread of COVID-19 with doctors from Sarawak, Malaysia, in a video conference on Wednesday.
Fujian's office for foreign affairs said that as cases of COVID-19 — the illness caused by the coronavirus — continued to grow, the provincial government overcame technological hurdles to build a remote diagnosis system in response to a request for help from the Chinese embassy in Kuching, Malaysia.
Chinese experts from respiratory and intensive care departments provided detailed answers to Malaysian doctors who asked about treatment and prevention, including what drugs are effective, the best time to apply certain therapies, which patients are suitable, how to measure success and how long traffic control should last.
