The Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport on Wednesday announced an initiative to help Spaniards who are becoming bored after four days of lockdown as a result of the coronavirus.
Spain has been in virtual lockdown since a 15-day State of Alarm was declared by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Saturday, severely restricting most people's freedom of movement in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19.
All art galleries, theaters, cinemas, libraries and museums have been closed as part of the measures, but the initiative "Culturaentucasa" (Culture in your home) aims to persuade people forced to stat ay home to take advantage of the Ministry's wealth of online resources.
