Culture at home to help locked-down Spaniards pass time

Under the hashtag #lacurlturaentucasa, the Ministry of Culture and Sport offers citizens the chance to take virtual visits of art exhibitions, watch videos of theatrical productions, films and concerts and also take advantage of online books and audio books.

In a press communique, the Ministry informs that the online offer is entirely free and aims to "help provide an alternative," while everywhere is closed.

Among the museums that can be visited virtually are the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the world famous Galleria del Prado, the Reina Sofia -- which allows visitors to view 170 videos and the National Sculpture Museum in Valladolid.
