The Mexican embassy in China is inviting all visual artists in China to participate in the 16th edition of the International Poster Biennial in Mexico (16 BICM) and submit their posters under six categories, including film, biodiversity and no violence against women.

The call for entries is open until May 15, 2020.

Founded in 1988, BICM is one of the three oldest events of its kind in the world, organized in the spirit of harnessing the power of art to raise the public’s awareness of global issues and inspire direct action.

For the past 30 years, around 70,000 winning posters from 80 participating countries have been displayed at the biennale, which takes place in Mexico City.
