Three people died after one man fell from a building and hit two teenaged passers-by in Southwest China's Chongqing on Tuesday night, police said.
The initial investigation showed the deaths were caused by the 31-year-old man, surnamed Li, who lived in a high-rise apartment building and committed suicide by jumping off the building.
The two passers-by, surnamed Zhang, 17, and Huo, 15, were senior high school students.
Zhang's aunt said that the young woman was the only child in her family. Zhang's father was devastated that he had to be carried when he went to identify Zhang's body.
The case is still under investigation.
