Linxia brick carving (also known as Hezhou brick carving) is a form of applied art typically seen on architecture. The decorative art matured and prospered during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and underwent further improvements in modern times as it integrated the features of painting and wood carving.

On May 20, 2006, Linxia brick carving was approved by the State Council to enter the first batch of National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China for protection.
