Senior CPC official calls for more intelligent methods in political, legal work
BEIJING -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China on Wednesday called for more application of intelligent and technological methods in the country's political and legal work.
Guo Shengkun, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at a meeting on the innovation of political and legal work.
Guo called for more innovation and more application of science and technology to improve the quality and efficiency of the work.
He stressed the roles of the Internet Plus mode, big data and artificial intelligence in improving the mechanism and process of the work.
Cutting-edge technologies should be used to combat crime, prevent risks and protect people's lives and property, he said.
