Think tanks publish reports at Shanghai Forum
Ten think tank reports covering issues from international affairs to domestic governance were published during the three-day Shanghai Forum 2019 that ended on Monday.
The series of research papers, namely the Fudan (University) Think Tank Report, took a deep dive into a variety of topics related to China, including multilateral development banks, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the integration of the Yangtze River Delta Region.
In a report titled "Changes in Turmoil: Fudan International Strategy Report 2018", foreign affairs specialists discussed how countries around the world are stepping up efforts to cope with the complex international scenario by adjusting existing policies and embarking on new strategic moves.
In another report related to the development of the YRD region, experts provided advice on how Shanghai should optimize its cultural, ecological and talent policies in order to foster innovation and enhance congruence within the area.
Entering its 15th year, the Shanghai Forum is hosted by Fudan University and the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies. The event this year received applications from over 70 universities, think tanks, corporates, and media organizations from 32 countries and regions.
