UAE Ambassador: Hopes to welcome 2 million Chinese tourists

United Arab Emirates ambassador to China, Ali Al Dhaheri, said he's had the chance to explore China when working here, which he has enjoyed very much.

"I'm very much looking forward to quality time with my wife and children here in China. I enjoy the rich culture here and I'm taking the opportunity to visit new areas of the country," he said.

It is expected the annual UAE-China Week in 2019 will deepen the connection between the two countries in culture, arts and heritage.

In tourism, the ambassador said the UAE aims to increase the flow of people between the two nations. "I hope to see around 2 million Chinese visiting UAE during 2019," he said.
