Rainbow-4 drone finishes test flight

BEIJING - A drone called Rainbow-4 finished its geographical exploration test flight in Northwest China recently, according to China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics.

The test flight result shows that the drone has high speed and efficiency covering a large probing area in short time.

It can also cope with limits of the terrain and weather, as well as provide information for geological structures analysis and prospecting.

The test flight was considered as a solid foundation for the Rainbow-4 drone conducting probing missions in future.
