China's top disciplinary authorities to tighten political inspection

BEIJING -- China's top disciplinary authorities on Tuesday vowed to enhance inspection work on the political front this year.

The inspections will target the fulfillment of duties of Party organizations to uncover political deviation, said a post on the website of the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.

Special efforts will be made to find problems in implementing the Party's policies and major decisions of the CPC Central Committee, such as corruption and undesirable work styles.

The central authorities will take tough actions against the practice of formalities for formalities' sake and bureaucratism, extend inspection to cover all fronts, and consolidate and develop a sweeping victory in the fight against corruption.
