5.2-magnitude quake hits Xinjiang: CENC

BEIJING -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Tacheng city in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region at 5:54 am Saturday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 46.73 degrees north latitude and 83.34 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 16 km, the CENC said in a statement.
