The opening ceremony of the Year of Education of the Republic of Belarus in China was held recently at Dalian University of Technology in Liaoning province, attracting representatives from the educational authorities and universities of both sides.
Tian Xuejun, China's Vice-Minister of Education says the Year of Education will bring China's cooperation in such fields as education, scientific and technological development and talent cultivation to a new stage.
Separately, a Belorussian chorus called Nerush visited Parkview Green, a shopping center in Chaoyang district and performed folk songs and dances to celebrate the Year of Education.
