Serial killer executed

Gao Chengyong, who killed 11 females in Northwest China's Gansu province and North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region between May 1988 and February 2002, is executed Thursday morning.
Gao, 53, was sentenced to death at the Baiyin Intermediate People's Court in Gansu province on March 30, 2018-about 30 years after he committed the first killing-for multiple charges of homicide, rape, robbery and mutilation of corpses.
