The 17th episode of China Daily website's original short video series Poetry Moment is finally here! The guest of this episode is sunshine boy Yang Xuwen. He was the honest Guo Jing in the Legend of The Condor Heroes, the handsome Inspector Fang in the Golden Investor, and also the energetic Qin Xiaoyang in the Skywolf, but above all, he is a sincere and capable actor who refuses to be pigeonholed.
His new TV series Skywolf recently wrapped up. As a military drama, the shooting process was very difficult, and scenes such as hanging in high-altitude crane, live ammunition shooting, explosions were very common. "They are very masculine and bold!" said Yang.
In this episode, Yang first reads an English poem for the audience. He read the masterpiece of Russian poet Pushkin, If by Life You Were Deceived with his magnetic voice, sharing with us the dreams of the hard years, and the eternal hopes. The poet states in his poem that when life deceives you, don't be sad. Everything will pass away. It will be a kind remembrance to look back on the past after going through hardships.
Yang said he often encounters difficult times. It's only when we have clear goals and firm convictions that we can overcome difficulties. The most important thing is that we should face all the hardships in life bravely.
